Harmony H1203 Sovereign Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar 1960's Pre-owned
Pre-owned in very good condition, this 1960's Harmony H1203 is a great sounding vintage acoustic. It's lightweight construction and ladder bracing give it a great midrange tone and it is playing nicely.
There is evidence of a previous professional neck reset along with a replacement saddle with rosewood added to fill the previous saddle slot ends as pictured. The frets show some wear but much less than you'd expect on a guitar of this age.
A very cool vintage Harmony acoustic, comes with original chipboard case.
"The Harmony H1203 Sovereign Grand Concert is a classic American-made acoustic from the golden era of 1960s craftsmanship. Built in the USA, this vintage Grand Concert model offers a comfortable body size that’s equally suited for fingerstyle playing, folk strumming, and blues. Its timeless design and aged tonewoods deliver the character and charm that only a true mid-century instrument can provide.
Constructed with a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, the H1203 produces a warm, woody tone with clear projection and a strong midrange presence. The ladder-braced design gives it a direct, punchy voice that records beautifully and cuts through in ensemble settings, while the mahogany neck provides a substantial yet comfortable vintage feel."
