Martin 000-18MC Martin Carthy Signature Acoustic Guitar 2003 Pre-Owned
Number 65 of only 84 produced! This Martin 000-18MC Martin Carthy Signature is a beautifully crafted guitar made to match Carthy's original 1959 000-18 specifications. This guitar is in very good pre-owned condition and sounds amazing!
Martin Carthy is a legendary folk artist writing songs such as Scarborough Fair and inspiring other folk icons Bob Dylan & Paul Simon. This model features a zero fret to optimise intonation in open tunings that Carthy often used. It also features a small maple tone block under the bridge and brass bridge pins on the treble strings from factory.
This guitar shows some small signs of wear with some scratches, lacquer rubbing, a lacquer chip on the back and one small blemish below the 1st string machine head as pictured. The frets are in excellent condition and the action is beautiful, a joy to play.
A fantastic signature Martin that looks, sounds and plays the part. Comes with original hardshell case.
